The organisers hope that this inter-agency approach will effectively address community issues including housing, health, and education. The communities have focused their efforts on reducing disadvantage supporting community safety and peace.
Leaders of the project express that Lisburn SAFE is simply a continuation of the work that volunteers have been involved in for many years. They hope the new program will build more professional service products.
